Foundations often hide structural and/or safety problems. This foundation structure failed to pass inspection, saving the potential home buyer from big unexpected repair costs and safety issues.
Improper do-it-yourself wiring is a leading cause of home fires in the U.S. We thoroughly check the wiring of each property we inspect. Not just the fuse box, outlets and switches, either. We check the attic and crawl space as well.
This make-do solution not only caused roof damage, it has the potential to cause excessive water damage and/or mold damage to the building’s finished interior spaces – costing thousands of dollars in future repairs.
